AMD Ryzen 5000

Until recently, AMD’s desktop chips were leading the way in multi-threaded CPU performance while Intel processors had a single-core performance advantage but, according to AMD claims, the single-core performance of the new Ryzen 5000s is improved so much that the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X processor manages to score 631 in Cinebench single-thread, while the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X hits 640. That would put AMD’s new family really at the top of the charts, but for now we have no concrete confirmations other than the word of the company.
