CHUWI has announced a new notebook, which is added to the already wide range of devices with Windows and Android operating system. The new laptop is called CHUWI LapBook Plus and will debut on the market next July 5, at a price not yet known but conceivable: the Chinese company has organized the “Price Guessing” campaign, which will give away LapBook Plus for who will be able to guess the official launch price.
Anyone wishing to give it a try can visit the promotion page, enter their email address and the price for CHUWI LapBook Plus. There will be only two winners and they will be drawn among those who have guessed the price.
CHUWI LapBook Plus
CHUWI LapBook Plus stands out from any other notebook launched by the brand in the past for at least a couple of features: ultra-thin frame (6 mm in the thinnest part) entirely in metal and the 15.6-inch IPS display with 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) , 100% sRGB color gamut, 16.7 million color reproduction and HDR support. It will not be easy to navigate, also because it is the first time that CHUWI has launched a notebook with such a high resolution and it will be interesting to find out how much this choice will weigh on the final price of the product.
The aforementioned features are complemented by a 2.0 GHz Intel Apollo Lake quad-core processor, integrated Intel HD Graphics 505 500 MHz GPU, 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 256GB SSD (expandable via dual M.2 SSD slot) and 36.5 Wh battery. Thanks to an excellent optimization of spaces and frames, CHUWI LapBook Plus will weigh only 1.52Kg, will integrate a full-size backlit keyboard and – judging by the first images – will also have a 3.5mm audio jack, HDMI, two USB and one SD card slot. In the wake of other CHUWI models, LapBook Plus will come in gray with a black keyboard. For the price you just need to try your luck and wait for July 5th
