The AIVI is the first model in the new T8 family from the well-known vacuum cleaner robot manufacturer. But not the only one, since in the third quarter of the year the family will be expanded with the inclusion of the DEEBOT OZMO T8, a robot that combines more powerful cleaning with the new navigation system. On the other hand, the T8 family will have an accessory that will make cleaning even easier: an automatic waste disposal station. It can be purchased separately or as part of the DEEBOT OZMO T8 + package, which includes the robot and the station. Let’s take a look at the characteristics of the new ECOVACS robots.

The ECOVACS DEEBOT OZMO T8 AIVI is equipped with the latest generation of ECOVACS AIVI (Artificial Intelligence and Visual Interpretation) Technology. Thanks to this technology, the T8 AIVI is capable of detecting numerous objects and avoiding them reliably. Now it is no longer necessary to remove objects such as shoes, socks, cables, clothing, bath mats or charging stations for the robot to clean.

Compared to the previous model, the DEEBOT OZMO 960, objects are detected twice as fast and the risk of jamming has been reduced by 60%. Also, the T8 AIVI remembers the areas that were not cleaned in the previous cycle due to an obstacle, to clean it in the new cycle and ensure a complete cleaning.

On the other hand, the camera system that includes the ECOVACS DEEBOT OZMO T8 AIVI allows us to see live what is happening in our house while the robot is cleaning. We can even interact with the device and closely monitor the cleaning process and our home. With the robot camera activated, we can see our house through the ECOVACS HOME app.

The T8 AIVI features high suction power and automatic carpet detection. By detecting that it is passing through a carpet, the robot increases the suction power to clean it thoroughly. In addition, the T8 has Max + Mode, which performs intensive cleaning throughout the house.

Another novelty of the ECOVACS DEEBOT OZMO T8 AIVI is that it includes as accessory (it is included with the robot) a scrubbing tank with OZMOTM Pro Mopping technology. The T8 AIVI not only sucks, but also scrubs on the same pass. In addition, now with the new electrically controlled plate, it achieves no less than 480 vibrations per minute, allowing it to remove even the most difficult stains. The tank has a capacity of 240 ml and from the app you can choose four water flows individually.

On the other hand, for maximum efficiency the ECOVACS DEEBOT OZMO T8 AIVI can accurately scan and map all rooms and plan an efficient cleaning route even in difficult areas and large areas. This is achieved thanks to TrueMapping technology, which has a DoTF (Direct time-of-flight) laser-based sensor that detects objects twice as far and is four times more accurate compared to DEEBOTs with conventional laser navigation.

In addition, the robot also scans various levels of the home. It allows to store two maps in parallel and it is possible to determine individually in which rooms the cleaning will be carried out. It has a battery charge that lasts up to three hours and can clean up to 300 m2.
