Samsung Galaxy Home Mini continues to be a mysterious object. It was expected for today, at least so it was said yesterday, but although there is still some margin (at least in Europe it is still afternoon, but in Korea it is already evening …) there is no trace of the smart speaker. Almost.
The only signal that bodes well comes from Seoul: in those parts, in fact, if you book a Galaxy S20 5G, S20 Plus 5G or S20 Ultra you will have a free pair of Galaxy Buds earphones + a Galaxy Home Mini. That there was no doubt, given that last November the same Samsung management had announced some technical characteristics (the IR signal, specifically), and even before we had had the opportunity to appreciate it at the Samsung Developer Conference.
The Samsung mini speaker is a real soap opera: it has been talked about for two years now, and after several delays – or false expectations – it was assumed that it would be officially announced in Las Vegas in January, hope unfulfilled. The date of February 7 had also been reported as possible, but even in this case there was no announcement, launch or dedicated event.
The opportunity offered yesterday by Unpacked was propitious, at least for those who are waiting for the device, but apparently not according to Samsung. Even today is preparing to end with nothing done (and presented), except for a sudden twist that, sooner or later, will have to be there. What is certain is that the inclusion of the Galaxy Home Mini among the products offered for free in the pre-order phase of the Galaxy S20 range bodes well. Once again.
We remind you that in Italy with the booking of a Galaxy S20 + or the Ultra version you will receive the Galaxy Buds + for free.
