On the occasion of CES 2020, Jabra launched the new Elite Active 75t headsets which, like the previous Elite 75t, have all those features – for call quality and enjoyment of music – that are expected from the brand but optimized for training and fitness and improved durability. We gave them a preview look during the Las Vegas fair, but they will be available from February at the price of € 199 in the colors Navy (February), Copper Black (exclusive for Amazon, February), Titanium Black (BestBuy exclusive, February) , Gray (March), Sienna & Mint (April).

The Jabra Elite Active 75t are 22% smaller than its predecessors (the Elite Active 65t). Built with a special coating that offers an optimized grip, the earphones are also resistant to dust and sweat, with a degree of protection (IP) increased from IP56 (of the Active 65t) to IP57 for maximum waterproofness. They have a 2 year warranty.

The Qualcomm QCC5126 Bluetooth Audio SoC was designed to allow for lower power consumption and longer battery life (by 89%). This allowed Jabra to reduce the size of the battery while prolonging its life in the latest headphones made. The Elite Active 75t, for example, offer up to 7.5 hours of battery life extending up to 28 hours with the charging case.

The QCC5100 series are also designed to offer higher speeds and flow rates. The SoC is equipped with a high-performance Bluetooth 5.0 radio and has been designed to ensure a robust and high-quality wireless connection between the headset and the mobile phone.

These earphones have also been designed to further improve comfort thanks to their shape and size, also ensuring high quality sound insulation. To achieve this, Jabra has used thousands of ear measurements and scans to create the most suitable headset shape, starting from the base of four generations of Elite wireless products. In this way an optimal reduction of passive noise was born for a better sound experience.

Users therefore have the opportunity to be totally immersed in listening to their music or calls. Alternatively, they can use HearThrough technology to let sound in when needed. But starting in the second quarter of 2020, Jabra will add two new software features designed to offer more choice and convenience to the user.

With Jabra MyControls, users will have the ability to use only one headset, gaining greater freedom and extending battery life, while through the Jabra Sound + app, users will be able to configure the functions on the left and right earphones to suit your personal preferences.

Also available from the same quarter is Jabra MySound, a function that takes advantage of the know-how and hearing technology of the subsidiary GN Hearing to personalize the musical experience of users. MySound allows users to optimize their audio experience based on their hearing profile thanks to a test comprising a series of acoustic signals. As a result, the music audio will be optimized for an experience that calibrates the earbuds based on each user’s profile
