Meizu is preparing to place a new smartphone on the market soon, ready to enrich the 2019 offer of the Chinese brand in the medium-high range that at this moment sees the 16s as its maximum expression. To reveal the first images is the Chinese certification site TENAA, which shows the front, back and side of a device that, according to rumors spread on the network, could correspond to the Meizu 16Xs.
From the back of the body it would seem to be a variant of the smartphone presented less than a month ago | Meizu 16s official: edges reduced to the minimum and care for the photographic sector | with the difference that in this case the cameras become 3 (2 on 16s, opening image). Aesthetically the differences seem minimal, especially lightening the image that portrays the smartphone in the frontal part: same edges reduced to the minimum, same positioning of the ear capsule and the front camera. The integrated fingerprint sensor below the display should also be present.
The image that depicts the smartphone frontally has been lightened to analyze its design
At the moment we do not know the technical specifications of the device, although we expect it to resume – at least in part – some of the features of Meizu 16s which, remember, offers:
OS Android 9 Pie with Flyme 7.3
6.2 ”Full HD + AMOLED display with a screen-shell ratio of 91.53%
Fingerprint sensor integrated in the display
Qualcomm Snapdragon 855
6 / 8GB of RAM
128 / 256GB of internal memory
8MP front camera
48 + 20MP double rear cam
We will see if in the coming days the first specifications will start circulating on the net, perhaps even with the support of TENAA, which usually shares the technical data sheet of the certified devices shortly after the publication of the images.
