Able to take full advantage of all the power made available by Intel CPUs, MSI laptops are equipped with processors up to the Intel Core i9-10980HK, which ensures significantly higher FPS and a performance increase of up to 50%, guaranteeing, therefore, unprecedented gaming experiences even with the most demanding titles.
Among the MSI notebooks equipped with the latest Intel and NVIDIA technological solutions, the MSI GS66 Stealth and GE66 Raider stand out, two new “thin & light” series equipped with a display with 300 Hz refresh rate, a large capacity battery from 99.9 Wh and capable of guarantee top performance.
MSI GE66 Raider
The new GE66 Raider is the best interpreter of the true gamer spirit and offers a perfect combination of aesthetics and performance. The chassis is reminiscent of a space shuttle and the extraordinary 16.8 million color RGB lighting effects of Mystic Light technology combine with the latest CPUs and GPUs to redefine the concept of laptop gaming. It measures 358 x 267 x 23.4 mm, so it is compact but not as compact as an MSI GS66 Stealth.
Characterized by a refined total black look, which counterbalances the flashy aesthetic of the Raider model, MSI GS66 Stealth has obtained both the “iF Design Award” and the “Red Dot Design Award”. In line with the name “stealth” (invisible), it is an extremely thin and compact laptop (358 x 248 x 19.8 mm), despite being equipped with the most performing processors and graphic solutions on the market. Thanks to the exclusive MSI Cooler Boost Trinity + technology and the fins of the fans just 0.1 mm thick, the air flows are maximized ensuring the laptop always remains at the ideal temperature even when it unleashes all its power with the titles more demanding.
MSI GS66 Stealth
From the hardware point of view, the two machines integrate a tenth generation Intel Core i9-10980K processor (Comet Lake-H) and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Super Max-Q graphics card, at the top of the category to guarantee “ultra fluid gameplay “. The screen is also the same: a 15.6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixel) IPS capable of reaching a refresh rate of 300 Hz, never seen before on a laptop. The SteelSeries keyboard offers RGB backlighting via a button on both models.
We would like to point out that the 17-inch versions of the two series – namely MSI GS75 Stealth and MSI GE75 Raider – do not inherit the new design but only the hardware update. Therefore, the new configurations of MSI GS75 Stealth provide (optionally) a 17.3-inch Full HD IPS screen with 300Hz refresh rate, Intel Comet Lake-H processors (probably an i9-10980K) with Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Super Max-Q graphics. , in a chassis that is roughly the same size as an ultrabook (396 x 259 x 20.25 mm). The MSI GE75 Raider also maintains the old design with updated processors / GPUs but in a slightly bulkier chassis (397 x 268 x 27.5 mm) and with a 240Hz screen.
