Although MSI is best known for its wide range of gaming notebooks, the Taiwanese company has also launched a series of ultraportables for photographers, designers, 3D designers and all graphics professionals, who are looking for a lightweight and powerful enough notebook for second their creativity. The line, which takes the name of Creator and belongs to the Prestige series for its elegant design, is expanding making space for two new models: MSI P65 and P75 Creator.
MSI P65 Creator
The smaller MSI P65 Creator is updated with Intel Core i5 / i7 (Coffee Lake) processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660Ti Max-Q (MSI P65 9SD), GeForce RTX 2060 (MSI P65 9SE) or GeForce RTX 1070 Max-Q ( MSI P65 9SF). The ultrabook integrates up to 32GB of RAM and up to two NVMe PCIe SSDs in different denominations, with a 15.6 inch IPS Full HD screen (1920 x 1080 pixels) or optionally UHD 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels), characterized by exclusive MSI True Color technology, which ensures the highest levels of color fidelity, with an accuracy close to 100% sRGB.
MSI P75 Creator is instead the largest model with a 17.3-inch Full HD display (1920 x 1080 pixels), which will be available in three configurations: esa-core Intel Core i7-9750H from 2.6GHz (up to 4.5GHz) with Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 with 6GB of memory for MSI P75 9SE, Intel Core i7-9750H from 2.6GHz (up to 4.5GHz) with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660Ti Max-Q with 6GB of memory for MSI P75 9SD and the eight-core Intel Core i9 -9880H from 2.3GHz (up to 4.8 GHz) with Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q with 8GB of memory for MSI P75 9SF. This model can be equipped with (up to) 64GB of RAM (on 2 slots, DDR4-2666) and offers three M.2 slots (two for PCIe Gen3 NVMe / SATA and one SATA).

Elegant and refined, the new Creators are available with a silver aluminum chassis, to combine the most sober tastes of professionals, obviously in two different formats: MSI P75 measuring 396.1 x 259.5 x 18.95 mm and weighs 2.25 Kg, while MIS P65 has a thickness of 17.9 mm and a weight of 1.9Kg. Both temperatures will be kept under control with the Cooler Boost Trinity cooling system, inherited from the previous generation.
The interface kit is roughly similar with an SD card reader and RJ-45 port (Gigabit Ethernet), headphone jack-audio, HDMI (4K to 60Hz) and four USB ports, one of which is a USB Type-C Gen2 / Thunderbolt 3 and three USB Type-A Gen2. Do not miss a backlit keyboard with a fingerprint sensor, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, stereo speakers and a 82Wh battery (P65) which should ensure over 8 hours of battery life. At the moment we have no information on availability and prices in Italy but, according to MSI, the first models will be on sale by May with a price of around 2000 euros.
