Oppo A31 could return. Yes, come back: because a model with the same name was released by Oppo in 2015. It was an inexpensive smartphone (the price was 149 euros) but well-kept, with a completely glass body. The diagonal of the display, 4.5 inches, makes us understand that many things have changed in these five years, one above all: the screens.
Today we return to talk about Oppo A31 in relation to a mid-range device on which not only the Chinese company would have been working for some time, but which would now also be about to launch on the market. In late January the device, with its code (CPH2035), also made an appearance on Geekbench.
The colleagues of 91Mobiles now claim to have received further information on the A31 from a very reliable source both as regards the technical specifications and on the design front.
The front shown in the render is a classic of the mid-range of the last year and also looks like the one to come: we know well that fullscreen with the chin, namely the asymmetrical bottom frame and more pronounced than the others, instead very thin. The selfie-cam will, it seems, be incorporated into the drop notch. On the back we should instead find a triple cam developed vertically, with a “traffic light”, and the sensor for biometric identification placed in the typical high and central position.
Also interesting is the coloring shown in the render, which is not random but should rather faithfully represent one of the three color options with which A31 will be available, namely “Lake Green”. The other two will be “Mistery Black” and “Fantsy White”.
What about the specs? They should be the ones that we report in the summary mirror, below.
OPPO A31: ALLEGED SPECIFICATIONS
6.5 inch HD + display
SoC Mediatek Helio P35
Memory cuts: 4 or 6 GB of RAM, 64 or 128 GB of internal storage (it is not clear whether the memory is expandable at the moment)

8 MP front camera
We remind you that Oppo will be among the companies present at the MWC2020 in Barcelona, and that on our dedicated page you will find all the updates on the situation and on the manufacturers who have instead communicated to renounce their participation due to the Coronavirus emergency.
Maybe during the event of February 22nd we will also be able to see A31? For sure, the focus is now on the next top Find X2 range, on which the company is gradually releasing information to raise the wait: like the fact that the screen will have a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
