Google has recently launched its new mid-range devices: Pixel 3a and 3a XL. The first of these is the protagonist of an irreverent advertising campaign. Find out all the details in our article.
The Mountain View company has not missed the opportunity to dwell on the price comparison with competitors. In fact, Google has launched an advertising campaign comparing the price of a “Phone X” ($ 999 in the US) with that of the Pixel 3a ($ 399 in the US). Not only that, Big G also makes fun of the cameras’ performance of the alleged “Phone X”. The billboard shows the best performance of the Pixel 3a in low light conditions.
Obviously, the reference to facts or people is not purely coincidental. It is understandable, even without mentioning it, that the “victim” of the scorn is the Apple iPhone X. Certainly in Cupertino by now they are used to being targeted. Despite everything, the iPhones are always targeted by all the various brands that sell smartphones with Android on board.
Probably Google’s revolution could be a revolution. We had never visited mid-range devices with the same camera and the same characteristics as the top of the range brothers. Will this push other brands to do the same? We hope so, we are tired of low-priced devices that involve too many compromises, especially in the photographic field.
