Redmi is working on an economic variant of Redmi K30: its name is Redmi K30i and according to what has been leaked in recent weeks, the main difference with the standard variant announced at the beginning of January should be sought in the photographic sector, revised downwards and now characterized by a 48MP main sensor (64MP in the Redmi K30).
The rumors in the last few days have begun to find confirmation thanks to the TENAA, where a device exactly identical to the Redmi K30 and with model number M2001G7AC has left traces of its passage, revealing the presence of a 48MP camera. To be more precise, the modification to the TENAA document would go back to March 31 but would have been noticed only in the past few hours (see image below).
Further confirmation on the cam comes from the MIUI Camera app, thanks to the discovery by an XDA member of a very special code string. Inside it appears both the name of the smartphone and the reference to 48MP.

For the rest, according to the data sheet included in the Chinese institution’s database, there would seem no further changes: the terminal is once again characterized by a 6.57 “display with FHD + resolution, 6/8 / 10GB of RAM memory, 64/128 / 256GB of internal storage and a 4,400 mAh battery (it is likely to be the same 4,500 mAh unit as the Redmi K30).
The smartphone should arrive on the Chinese market at a price of 1,799 Yuan, that is to say around 230 euros at the current exchange rate. For the moment, no further details are known regarding the launch schedule
