The Olympic Games version of the Samsung top range could not be missing this year either. It’s up to the Galaxy S10 + the honor of becoming “ambassador” of the Olympic games to be held in Tokyo from 24 July to 9 August 2020: the special edition was presented by the Japanese telephone operator DoCoMo and will be sold in Prism White coloring with the Tokyo 2020 logo on the back.
Samsung Galaxy S10 + Olympic Games Edition will be available from the end of July in only 10 thousand units, and can already be booked on the official website of the operator. The price? 114,696 yen, about 937 euros for the version equipped with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory.
Already in 2016 Samsung had launched on the market a Limited Edition of its top of the range (back then it was the Galaxy S7 edge), while in 2018 it was the Galaxy Note 8’s turn to wear white to celebrate the PyeongChang Olympic Winter Games.
This year’s special edition will be sold with the free Galaxy Buds, and special Olympics-themed content will be available. Anyone interested in the purchase, however, will have to consider a trip to the East, given that – at the moment – the marketing of the special edition of the Galaxy S10 + is not planned for these latitudes.
