The Smart Full HD WiFi camera is equipped with an artificial intelligence based intelligent motion detection system. It offers users different options on what is framed by the camera and on which notifications to receive: users can specify which types of movement to detect, such as those of an intruder compared to those of the dog or an object that crosses a defined border or enter a specific area. You can also define multiple zones, and immediately receive a notification when motion is detected in specific areas.
The DCS-8325LH is equipped with integrated night vision, Full HD resolution (1080p), a microSD card slot for local recording saving, two-way audio and WPA3 WiFi security protocol. Its 151-degree wide-angle lens allows users to monitor a larger area of the room with a single video camera.

D-Link also announced the new Mini Full HD WiFi camcorder (DCS-8000LHV2), an update to its best-selling camcorder, the DCS-8000LH. Equally compact in design, it has been updated with Full HD 1080p resolution, WPA3 WiFi security and artificial intelligence based motion detection. The video camera is able to distinguish the movements made by a person compared to other objects, significantly reducing false alarms. The latter model is already on sale on Amazon at a price of 70 euros.
Both cameras are easy to set up and control via the mydlink app for smartphones and tablets. Users can take advantage of the free mydlink Cloud Recording, which stores the recorded videos for 24 hours in their personal cloud archive. Alternatively, there is also a range of paid options that offer record keeping for up to 30 days.

The mydlink app also supports Rich Notifications, a feature that sends a push notification to the mobile device with a snapshot when activity is detected. Users can therefore react immediately, without the need to access the app, accessing the live view of the camera or calling with one click one of the two pre-assigned contacts.
Designed with the modern smart home in mind, they can work in collaboration with a wide range of mydlink devices, such as smart plugs and sensors. They are also fully compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, offering the added convenience of voice control. Both cameras are also compliant with the S. ONVIF profile, offering users additional flexibility when integrating with compatible network video recorders (NVRs) and video management systems (VMS).
