An English motorcycle for the most famous – and long-lived – secret agent in the world. In fact, in the last 007 film, James Bond, No time to die, one of the bikes used is a Triumph Scrambler 1200.
The House of Hinckley has thought well to launch the bike on the market, with the same elegant total black livery in a limited edition of 250 specimens.
And it doesn’t matter if the release of the last chapter of the most fascinating secret agent of cinema has been postponed because of the Coronavirus, the Scrambler 1200 is already showing off.
The Triumph Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition is part of a product placement operation, i.e. a type of indirect advertising by making a product appear in unconventional spaces and without being reported as such, in this case a film, becoming the official bike of Daniel Craig in the 25th fild dedicated to James Bond, together with the Tiger 900.
Between these two, the last one was launched on the market, resuming the same color that appeared on the set, an elegant but at the same time aggressive total black (handlebar, footrests, frame, swingarm, fork and fork plates) while a flashy Triumph logo appears on the tank , well worked on the area of the knees in brushed aluminum and with a light golden thread
From the black livery stands the steel of the Arrow double exhaust with the 007 logo on the protection. To allow James Bond to show off certain evolutions in the saddle, the technical equipment is of a high standard, with the pair of Öhlins shock absorbers behind and a Showa fork in front.
The braking system is a Brembo with a two-piston caliper on two 320 discs at the front and a 250 mm disc combined with a two-piston caliper at the rear. The engine is always the 90 HP and 110 Nm twin cylinder.
