iQOO, now a well-known sub brand of ViVO and avant-garde brand for new technologies, has presented the new iQOO 3 in China and India, officially marking its entry into international markets. Through the implementation of 5G technology and the adoption of a more elegant than average design, the smartphone aims to meet the needs of users who are experts in technology and always looking for top-level performance. iQOO, in fact, stands for “I Quest On and On” and reflects the incessant search for innovative solutions.

After Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, a new smartphone comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, which supports 5G functionality and is accompanied by the Adreno 650 GPU for maximum graphics performance. To further improve responsiveness, LPDDR5 RAM modules (up to 12 GB) and UFS 3.1 storage (up to 256 GB) were used which, combined, offer smoother file transfer and multitasking. On the other hand, the Carbon Fiber VC Liquid Cooling Technology liquid cooling system keeps the temperatures low. These features will allow you to take advantage of an online and offline experience without interruptions or setbacks of any kind.

Video game lovers will enjoy a 360-degree experience, with 5G connectivity that guarantees low latency and very high speed downloads to play fluently even online titles. The pair of “Monster Touch” buttons, located on the side frame of the device and sensitive to pressure, allow you to perform multiple operations simultaneously, in addition to guaranteeing a better grip and comfort. By holding them down, you can activate Monster mode which makes the chipset work 100% and minimizes the delay on some occasions but has an impact on the battery. The 4D haptic engine also makes video games more real, simulating effects such as the recoil of a firearm or the vibration of a racing car’s steering wheel. As for the visual experience, iQOO 3 uses a 6.44 ”Polar View E3 Super AMOLED FHD + display, with 16 MP punch-hole camera in the upper right corner, 180 Hz Super Touch response frequency, improved by 50% compared to the standard 120 Hz. This screen can reach a brightness of 1200 nits and supports the playback of HDR10 + content.

Mobile gaming on IQOO 3

The essence of iQOO products is speed, not only in terms of gaming performance but from any point of view, including charging the battery. In fact, with a 4440 mAh battery and 55W SUPER FlashCharge technology, in just 15 minutes it can reach a charge of 50%. The operating system is Android 10 with iQOO UI 1.0 proprietary graphic interface and integration of Ultra Game mode that allows you to block notifications and calls during the game to minimize distractions and maximize performance. In addition, the new generation in-display fingerprint sensor allows you to unlock your phone in just 0.31 seconds when the screen is turned off.

For high quality photographs, a quad-camera that uses artificial intelligence and four sensors has been integrated: 48 MP main (f / 1.8 Sony IMX582), 13 MP telephoto lens with 20X digital zoom, 13 wide-angle macro MP and 2 MP depth for the bokeh effect. To stabilize the videos, however, we think the Super Video Stabilization which uses the EIS algorithm to obtain a super anti-shake.

iQOO wants to forcefully enter the premium gaming smartphone market by exploiting powerful processors, exceptional displays and a fluid user interface. iQOO 3 will be marketed in the following configurations: 8/128 GB 4G LTE (around € 475), 8/256 GB 4G LTE (around € 512) and 12/256 GB 5G (around € 575). The prices listed have been converted from the Indian currency and, if the phone reaches Europe, it could have a much higher cost.
