Xiaomi Mi Box 4S was presented in China, revealing a variant (not too different) of the previous Mi Box 4 and Mi Box S. In fact, most of the technical characteristics remain unchanged, including the 64-bit Amlogic S905X chipset with 4 cores ARM Cortex-A53 and Mali-450 GPU.
The device is sold in white color, the same that will be made available later on the international market. It will take the place of the Mi Box 4 SE, the last set-top-box announced by Xiaomi which dates back almost two years ago: it measures 95x95x16 millimeters, weighs 145 grams and offers a minimalist and smooth design, interrupted only by the mi logo on the top.
Compared to the 4SE model, Xiaomi Mi Box 4S is compatible with the 2.4 and 5GHz dual band WiFi 5 connection, which joins the Bluetooth version 4.2. Regarding the memory, we find 2GB of RAM and 8GB of storage space.
