The Transform 3.0 conference at Lenovo’s Accelerate is the annual meeting point where business customers, partners, analysts, retail sector buyers and, in general, technology lovers come together to view the latest professional solutions from Lenovo and how Chinese company is committed to transforming the workplace with intelligent solutions that lead to a more effective business. From new ThinkBooks to augmented reality (AR), from the Internet of Things to security solutions, Lenovo continues its promise to bring smart technologies to everyone with a number of innovations in different categories.

Created in the context of Lenovo’s smart business initiative, the ThinkReality sub-brand is launched to bring companies a solution-based approach that includes both software and hardware. It is designed to help professionals use AR applications to receive assistance, reduce repair times, eliminate errors, streamline complex workflows, improve the quality of refresher courses, collaborate and reduce costs.

The ThinkReality platform allows users to highlight, interact and collaborate with 3D content and information in the real world, improving efficiency and context awareness. The platform is independent of the device and the cloud, and in this way it is easy for professional users to adopt and manage AR and VR software applications on multiple operating systems, cloud services and devices such as the new ThinkReality A6.

ThinkReality A6 is the first device made available in the ThinkReality portfolio of solutions, a potential competitor of HoloLens. It is a mobile, lightweight viewer with a heads-up screen that allows hands-free use. It can be used to install AR solutions from the simplest to the most complex for those companies that wish to improve the productivity of their workforce.

With a weight of 380 grams, a viewing angle of 40 degrees and a resolution of 1080p per eye, ThinkReality A6 is one of the lightest complete AR viewers in its class. Thanks to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor in the Android operating environment compute box, the ThinkReality A6 viewer with lens provided by Lumus in an Intel Movidius VPU (Visual Processing Unit), is also one of the most powerful.
