Realme is working on a new smartphone with strong photographic skills: its name is Realme X3 SuperZoom and it has been talked about for several weeks thanks to the sighting at the Thai NBTC and the Geekbench benchmark that has allowed us to give a quick look at the data sheet.

New information is now added to the information already known about the peculiar characteristics of the product which, as can be deduced from the name, will make the photographic sector its workhorse. The leaker Sudhanshu provides them, according to which the device will be equipped with:
zoom up to 60x: Realme X3 SuperZoom will be able to perform a digital zoom up to 60x. This means that the device is likely to have a periscopic lens.
Starry Mode: A camera mode for night photos in the starry sky

According to the renders shared in recent days by some Chinese leakers (see gallery above), the device would have a design similar to Oppo’s Reno 2 range. From the images it is possible to observe a rear glass finish and three cameras arranged vertically together with the LED flash slightly further to the side.

No news for the technical specifications; the only ones that have emerged so far (and yet to be confirmed) include: Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC, 12GB of RAM, Android 10 operating system and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.

A few hours later the official confirmation on the 60x camera arrived, directly from the company’s CEO, Madhav Sheth. He did so by sharing a 13MP resolution photo of the Milky Way on Twitter, challenging users to take a better shot with their current smartphones. This is obviously a digital processing since the optical zoom will probably go up to 6x, however this and the other missing features have not been described. We leave you to the photo of our galaxy, made with Realme X3 SuperZoom ..
