Nubia Red Magic 5G will be presented in China on a date yet to be decided. his debut should have taken place at the MWC in Barcelona, but unfortunately we all know how it turned out. The company communicated its decision through a post on its official account on the Chinese social network Weibo.
No other details have been released, because they are still being defined: in particular, it is not clear whether it will be traditional or online. Nubia could decide to wait some time, hoping that the Coronavirus alarm will come back, and organize an event in the real world, or do as Huawei (or Xiaomi a few days ago) and rely on streaming.
Nubia Red Magic 5G will be the new flagship of the “gaming smartphone” brand, a niche of products that has attracted the interest of a fair number of manufacturers, especially from Asia. The company has already officially anticipated some technical specifications, which will be decidedly “over the top”, let’s say:
144 Hz refresh display
Up to 16 GB of RAM
Ultra-fast 80W charging that will require a fan to dissipate heat
Of course the latest generation network modem, or 5G
