The hypothesis that Samsung is working to market a new variant of the Galaxy M30 is supported by the sighting at Geekbench of a terminal identified by the initials SM-307F, or the same one to which Sammobile had referred a few days ago.
The summary sheet of the benchmark highlights some aspects of the hardware and software platform: the operating system is Android 9, 4 GB of RAM memory – but it is not to be excluded that there is also a variant with 6GB, as happened in the case of current M30 – and, most importantly, the SoC is the Exynos 9610 (announced in March last year) which replaces the M30 Exynos 7904.
The smartphone could be marketed as Galaxy M30s, but further confirmation is expected on the point.

Samsung is working on a new version of the Galaxy M30, according to what is exclusively reported by the colleagues of Sammobile. The sighting starts from the product serial number, ie SM-M307F, similar to the M30 SM-M305F.
At the moment we do not know the novelties that will distinguish the original from the new model, but it could be a smartphone destined to occupy the market range between M30 and the brand new Galaxy M40, made official just a few days ago.
We remind you that the Galaxy M range is characterized by the choice of being offered exclusively through online distribution channels, which allows it to maintain a more competitive list price than that of other Samsung products. According to the information, the device will be offered in two memory cuts – 64 and 128GB – while there are no confirmations regarding the Android version, although it should still debut with the 9 Pie version and One UI 1.1 interface.
